Public Ministry in the Democratic State of Law

Continuing the 2013 Legal Week, Escanhoela Advogados Associados, in its second lecture, brings a renowned representative of the Public Ministry of the State of São Paulo and recognized professor of Criminal Law, to talk about the career of the legal professional in the Public Ministry.

  • Graduated from the Faculty of Law of Sorocaba (1985). • Postgraduate: Lato Sensu – Specialist in Criminal Law from the Escola Superior do Ministério Público (1998). • Graduate: Stricto Sensu – Master in Social Relations Law (Criminal Law) from PUCSP (2002). • Professor of Criminal Law at the Anglo-Triumphus Course (Sorocaba) from 1994 to 2008. • Professor of Criminal Law at the University of Sorocaba (Uniso) since 1999. • Professor of Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law of Sorocaba (Fadi) since 2004. • Head of the Criminal Law and Criminal Procedural Law Department at Fadi. • Professor of the Specialization Course in Criminal Law at Escola Superior do Ministério Público. • Guest professor of the Specialization Course in Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law of Tupã. • Public Prosecutor since April 1, 1991, currently the 49th Criminal Justice Prosecutor of the Capital. Former advisor to the Internal Affairs Office of the Public Ministry of São Paulo. He currently serves as an advisor to the Attorney General’s Office. • Four-time member of the Examining Boards of Contests for Interns of the Public Ministry of São Paulo. • Publications: Book: Dolo e a culpa in the evolution of the concept of culpability (Editora Bookseller, 2006). Articles: in several specialized magazines – “Justitia” of the Public Ministry of São Paulo; the Escola Superior do Ministério Público; from the Faculty of Law of Sorocaba.
